Professional Communication Coach and Speech-Language Pathologist
Later I established a private practice providing service to a wide spectrum of clients ranging from preschoolers with speech and language delays to adolescent stutterers to adults wishing to improve their professional communication.
Several relocations later — to Vancouver, Toronto, and England — I am again living in Toronto where I am a certified member of both the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and Speech-Language and Audiology of Canada (SAC), and ready and willing to lend a helping hand!
Over the course of my career, I have worked as a speech-language pathologist and presentation coach in Montreal, Vancouver and Toronto, as well as in Cambridge and London in the UK.
Having studied psychology at McGill University, I trained as a speech-language pathologist at Northwestern University. I started out as a school clinician in Montreal, while also supervising graduate students from McGill University’s School of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
A little more about me
I am a singer-songwriter and have a background in acting. In addition to writing songs, I have written musical theatre scripts, lyrics and scores.
In my free time, I can be found singing, playing piano, writing songs and poetry, reading, watching inordinate amounts of Netflix (though it counts as reading if shows have subtitles), doing crossword puzzles, and baking.
I also derive immeasurable pleasure from decluttering my home and those of others, regardless of whether I’ve been asked to or not!
In terms of fitness, I exercise my democratic rights regularly.
